What’s On This Weekend-Gippsland

Take advantage of the beautiful summer weather and see what’s on this weekend in the Gippsland region.

Pop down to the final two days of the Drouin Ficifolia Festival this Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 February. The festival came about in 1988, when a group of local residents decided to celebrate the beauty of the flowering gum trees that line the main street with a mass of colour. Also known as the Gum Nut Festival, this free event is for the whole community to enjoy, with a colourful street parade, Party in the Park, market stalls and entertainment, Poetry Night, Movie under the Stars, Drouin Art Show, Artist Open Studio Tour and a fireworks display.
